[The Tutorial Collab '06]

A Masterpiece

This was a great piece of work. Kudos to all those who worked on it. It's great to see more than "This is how to make a button." And whats more, you taught how to make the basics look good.

I hope to see additions later, though I don't know what else you could work on. I would like to see more about FL Studio, but its gonna take me weeks to work through this material and really learn it.

Thanks again for such a rich resource. One last note, the preloader was a bit intensive, though it was a nice effect.

Something of A Start

This could be quite interesting if everything was fleshed out, from the intro to the gameplay graphics. Pretty much a complete overhaul. But the core concept might be able to survive.

I agree that the dress up game idea is pretty worn out. It is a good place to start, especially if you haven't made one before, but it would be a lot better if you made it a part of a larger game, or at least add some kind of goal to it.

Good job with the look though, I've seen a lot worse.

Ok I guess

There didn't seem to be too much explaining in there. To be fair, I only skimmed through it cuz there are so many tutorials on here. But I think it would benefit if you took a few screens to explain in detail whats goin on and how it works. That way, you can set a foundation for people to get creative.

Nice loader at the end though with the circle.

Could use improvement

Its pretty cool, but I had a couple issues. Like startin the game gave me an ear splitting sound, then the moving sound was rather annoying. Some BG music would be nice.

Also, I had a big issue tryin to movie over a single space and it would jump two. I just tap the arrow and it jumps like that. Not sure if theres much you can do, but thought I'd let you know.

Somewhat ok

There are a few points you seem to have missed. One already being said is perspective. The most informative one was the outside walls, where you stated what tools were used and stuff. If you could make this again, try more interesting backgrounds. You only need one basic one, then make comments about how you can make doors and windows and all that.
